Our Journey
CJ Joinery was started back in 2017 by us, Chris and John with a simple vision: to do great work that lasts. Today, we are a full construction and joinery team delivering high-quality projects across the UK.

Chris
Co-Founder & Director
Chris began his career in construction with a Carpentry apprenticeship after leaving school. He built his skills from the ground up, gaining hands-on experience and a deep understanding of the trade.
Over the years, he moved into senior roles and then management, always focused on delivering quality work and building strong teams. During this time he met John, and and together they founded CJ Joinery.
Chris brings a wealth of experience across multiple sectors. He is a skilled Project Manager and a committed director. He has worked alongside John to drive CJ Joinery forward with care, integrity, and craftmanship at it's core.
John
Co-Founder & Director
After leaving school, John completed an Apprenticeship in Carpentry and Joinery. He gained early experience with a national house builder, progressing into management with his skills and hard work.
He later worked as a subcontractor with a national shopfitting firm, where became a trusted team leader. During this time, he met Chris. They went on to deliver projects together across the country before deciding to establish CJ Joinery.
John brings site experience and practical leadership, across sectors. Along with Chris, John plays a central role in maintaining the high standards and client focus that define CJ Joinery.

We invest in our people through ongoing training and a supportive working environment. We also place importance on developing the next generation of joiners. Over the years we have supported apprentices, guiding them through their careers and helping them grow into skilled professionals.
