The Challenge

The challenge

The most technically demanding part of the project was the roof package, particularly the combination of dormers and steelwork.

The team had to set out and construct complex roof details accurately while maintaining progress across a multi-plot housing programme.

Our Approach

Our approach

CJ used experienced housing carpenters to sequence roof, floor, stair, first-fix and second-fix works around Torpoint's plot programme.

The same quality-led approach was maintained through the more complex roof areas and the repetitive finishing stages.

Outcome

CJ completed the package on budget and on time.

The quality of delivery and working relationship with Torpoint contributed to CJ going on to work across multiple Torpoint sites, making Dale Lane an important repeat-business case study as well as a technical roofing example.
